Hi! My name is Caitlin Massey! (she/they)

I've worked in higher education for 15 years at public and private universities in undergraduate and graduate admission, academic advising, new student orientation, and more. I have an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College (CUNY), and I take special interest in educational equity, LGBTQ+ student issues, and programs in the arts and humanities.

College is an exciting time in a young person's life and can be an utterly transformative experience. I love to help students look at all the options and opportunities before them and make choices that will empower and encourage them. I think URI is a fantastic place to become the student and global citizen you want to be, and I look forward to helping you get there!

Favorite place on campus: 193 Coffeehouse, a nonprofit cafe run by and for students with fun, bohemian vibes
Best URI food: Insomnia Cookies — get your cookie fix almost any time of day or night!
Favorite thing about URI: It's such a beautiful, welcoming place that really feels like a family, a home.
Advice for new students: Make connections with your classmates, your professors, your advisors, and the staff on campus! You'll make some wonderful friends and find people who can connect you to all sorts of opportunities you didn't even know about.
