Hi! My name is Angel!
I'm a recent URI graduate and a proud Afro-Latina from the south side of Providence, Rhode Island, who is passionate about access, inclusion, equal opportunity, and representation in every room. My background includes degrees in secondary education, English, and human development and family science, with a focus on counseling and social services. One of my biggest ambitions in life is to give back to the communities that have impacted my life, and working for the Office of Admission has allowed me to do just that.
When I was an undergraduate, URI was my home away from home in beautiful Kingston, Rhode Island; and it continues to be a place that fosters community, creativity, and engaged learning. I look forward to assisting students in finding their home at URI and becoming the newest members of our Ram Fam.

Advice for new students: Dream big and soar high, as there are no limitations to the things you can do. And as each day progresses, remember why you started.
